About Executive Gift Service
Executive Gift
Service opened its doors in 1981 as a personal gift
shopping service for executives. Owned by Sheree
Kerner, it grew into a specialty advertising company
offering literally thousands of promotional products
available for imprinting company logos and
messages. Trade show attendance and our
digital catalog
library have made quick product recall a valuable
tool when helping customers find the perfect gift
idea for any marketing campaign.
Continued education
through the Promotional Products Association
has provided us the ability to help customers solve
business problems that involve motivating people,
using a systematic effort and promotional
techniques. We find business problems where
measures are off. For instance, gross sales are
down or insurance premiums are up. We consider
peoples' behaviors that could be effecting the
measures and create promotional campaigns targeted
at motivating the people to act differently.
We have created
successful safety campaigns for companies such as
Waste Management and Ryder Transportation, and
successful door opener campaigns for L&L Oil and BFM
Corporation. One promotional campaign in particular
grew to statewide status. It involved a calendar
called the Revelry Planner that featured collective
events of over fifty city venues, such as the Fair
Grounds and the Superdome, and state sponsored
events and festivals. It featured an event
dictionary and a coupon section that made the
calendar value over $1000.00. The calendar was sold in
bookstores and was featured in the
Times-Picayune, Cox Cable, Channel 4 Morning News,
and several radio stations.
In 1997, the
ownership incorporated
Bailey Link to compliment
promotional campaigns with Website promotions.
The company went beyond Website development becoming
involved in Web-enabling business processes and
e-commerce.
Recently,
Stratcon Target Marketing &
Promotions was organized to merge its
technology and promotional capabilities together
with its strategy planning competence.
Strategy planning is necessary for companies to
focus on their vision and mission, and link its human
resources, technology, processes and promotions to
the strategy.
